Harris Protested At Michigan Rally

Harris allegedly tried to negotiate with the pro-Palestinian activists who have already had a dramatic influence over her campaign decisions.

The New York Times reported that “before her rally in Detroit, Vice President Kamala Harris spoke briefly with the co-founders of the Uncommitted National Movement, which mobilized tens of thousands of voters in Michigan to withhold their votes from President Biden in the primary earlier this year over his support for Israel’s war in Gaza. Abbas Alawieh and Layla Elabed said they were in the welcoming line for Harris and Governor Walz, and communicated to Harris that they wanted to support her but that voters wanted her to consider an arms embargo to immediately stop the carnage in the besieged enclave.

Harris listened to stories of people in Michigan who have had dozens of family members killed in Gaza. The leaders asked to meet with her about the embargo request, and she indicated she was open to it, and introduced the two leaders to her staff.”

Since she refuses to do interviews, the vice president has not specifically said whether or not she’d support an arms embargo against America’s closest ally in the Middle East. Her campaign has denied support for such a move, though the Biden Administration implemented one earlier in the year, giving a boost to Hamas.

The vice president allegedly chose Tim Walz over the much more popular Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro because the latter would “upset” the pro-Hamas Caucus. Unsurprisingly, negotiations and offering concessions to antisemites didn’t do the trick.

During her rally in Detroit, Harris was suddenly interrupted by Pro-Palestine activists while giving a speech, knocking her off script and causing her to lose her cool.

“I’m speaking” has been a favorite of the vice president whenever she’s been interrupted. During her debate with then Vice President Mike Pence, Harris used the line rather awkwardly in what appeared to be a preplanned move to make it seem as if she were being bullied by the Republican.

The Harris rally left some attendees fuming after the campaign forgot to provide shuttles to bring people back from the vice president’s speech to their cars.

Better luck next time.
