Report: Biden Used Sandy Hook Memorial As Cover To Meet With Hunter Money Man

Joe Biden has often claimed to have been deeply affected by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut, where 20 children and six adults were killed. He used the event to lead Barack Obama’s Gun Violence Prevention Task Force and has pointed to it when constantly advocating for stricter gun control measures, including background checks and a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.

Like most of his efforts, however, he failed. That didn’t keep him from showing up at the Sandy Hook Memorial after he left office, though.

The House Oversight Committee alleges that following his vice presidency, Biden stopped deploying the sympathy from Sandy Hook’s tragedy to push gun control and replaced it with efforts to secure some cold, hard cash for his son’s business.

The New York Post reports that Hunter Biden used his dad’s appearance at a Sandy Hook shooting memorial event to coordinate a previously unknown planned meeting between the former vice president and a Chinese business partner, newly unveiled texts showed.

On Dec. 12, 2017, Hunter messaged CEFC executive Liu Yadong on WeChat to arrange a meeting with his powerful dad, documents released this week by the House Ways and Means Committee revealed.

“Can you meet this evening early,” Hunter wrote in the messages obtained by IRS investigators.

“My father will be in New York also and he wants me to attend the Sandyhook [sic] memorial service with him and I would like him to meet you along with my uncle [Jim Biden] and then you and I can talk let me know if that works.”

“No problem,” Liu replied. “Pls let me know where and when to meet.”

It has not been made clear whether Biden actually met with the man connected to communist leadership in China, but it would take some imagination to believe he didn’t.

“Despite repeatedly insisting his family earned no money from China, the president featured prominently in first son Hunter and first bother James Biden’s multimillion-dollar relationship with CEFC, with most of his known alleged interactions happening in 2017 shortly after he left office as vice president.

Joe Biden played a similar supporting role in Hunter’s dealings with Chinese state-backed fund BHR Partners, which was registered just days after the father-son duo landed in Beijing aboard Air Force Two in 2013.

The newly revealed texts between Hunter Biden and Liu came after several months of back-and-forth over the Biden clan’s involvement in a deal with CEFC – which has ties to the Chinese government – in exchange for a cool $10 million per year.

That May, one of the family’s partners, James Gilliar, penciled in a 10% cut for the “big guy” as part of a joint venture with CEFC. Multiple former Biden family associates say the term refers to Joe Biden, including Tony Bobulinski, who says he had two conversations with Joe Biden that month,” according to The New York Post.

The newly released evidence couldn’t come at a worse time for Hunter. He will soon be put on trial for his federal gun charges in Delaware, where he will face three former romantic partners who have been called to testify against him.

One of the three, Hallie Biden, who inexplicably received payment from the same Chinese firm despite being a school counselor, received a visit from the “Big Guy” himself recently. Unsurprisingly, while Democrats constantly talk about witness tampering when Trump talks about his trial, personally meeting with a key witness in his son’s criminal trial has escaped criticism from the mainstream media.

The National Review reported that “less than two weeks before Hunter Biden is set to go to trial for felony gun charges, his father, President Joe Biden, paid a visit to one of the upcoming trial’s key witnesses.

Last night, Joe Biden visited his daughter-in-law Hallie Biden, the widow of Beau Biden and ex-girlfriend of Hunter Biden, according to the White House pool report. Beau Biden was deployed to Iraq and it is Memorial Day weekend.”

Asked if they discussed the trial, the president’s spokesman said no.

The magazine noted, however, that “the president does not appear to be distancing himself from Hunter Biden as the criminal trial is set to get underway. Joe Biden’s visit to Hallie Biden follows a state dinner held by the White House last week with Hunter Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland on the guest list.

Garland is responsible for appointing special counsel David Weiss, who is leading the prosecution of Hunter Biden. The younger Biden’s attorneys have unsuccessfully sought to dismiss his gun charges based on arguments that Weiss is unlawfully appointed and selectively prosecuting Biden, even though Weiss’s boss is an appointee of Biden’s father.”

Biden has previously been angry with Garland for not quashing the criminal charges against his son.
