When students at some of our elite universities, like Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania, chanted “globalize the Intifada,” many leftwing supporters of Palestine argued it did not mean the genocide of Jews or a global spread of terrorism. It simply meant “uprising,” we were told by the likes of MSNBC hosts as early as last Tuesday.
Imagine being a professor and not understanding the definition of the word ‘explicitly’.
You can believe that ‘intifada’ chants are calls for violence – they aren’t btw! – but what you can’t do is claim they are ‘explicit’ calls for violence when, *by definition*, they are not. https://t.co/0XiijMfOGD

That whitewashing of terrorism will need a new talking point. Authorities in Germany stopped three Hamas members from “globalizing the Intifada,” according to reports on Wednesday. The group aimed to attack various Jewish institutions across Berlin while a fourth had plans to launch terror attacks in Denmark.
The Daily Mail writes that “three men, along with another suspect arrested in the Netherlands, were said to have begun preparing a weapons cache in the German capital where arms would be ‘kept in a state of readiness in view of potential terrorist attacks against Jewish institutions in Europe,’ German federal prosecutors said in a statement.
News of these arrests came just after Danish authorities said they too had prevented a terror attack, arresting three more suspects.
Danish police refused to comment on whether there was any link between the arrests reported in Denmark and Germany.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said meanwhile in a statement that Danish security forces had ‘thwarted an attack, the goal of which was to kill innocent civilians on European soil.’
‘The Hamas terrorist organisation has been working relentlessly and exhaustively to expand its lethal operations to Europe, and thereby constitute a threat to the domestic security of these countries,’ Netanyahu said.
There’s a reason why Hamas has been classified by the United States, the European Union and several other nations as a terrorist organization for decades.
“Reacting to news of the Hamas-linked arrests,” CNN noted, “German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser thanked the German and Dutch police authorities, stating that it “shows that our security authorities are extremely vigilant and act consistently.”
‘The protection of Jews is our top priority. We use all constitutional means against those who threaten the lives of Jews and the existence of the state of Israel,’ Faeser said.
The German Justice Minister, Marco Buschmann, also thanked authorities for the ‘successful investigation,’ which has “contributed to ensuring that Jews in Europe can continue to live in safety and peace.’
‘Following the terrible attacks by Hamas on the Israeli population, attacks on Jews and Jewish institutions have also increased in our country in recent weeks. This is shameful and shocking. We must therefore do everything we can to ensure that Jews in our country do not have to fear for their safety again. And our security and law enforcement authorities are working flat out to achieve this,’ Buschmann stated.”
While protesters across the United States continue to block freeways and chant slogans, Hamas has explicitly stated that it plans to launch attacks in the United States, as well. Hamas Senior Official Sami Abu Zuhri recently called for violence against Americans worldwide and has said that, like Netanyahu, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, will “pay the price.”
“We need violent acts everywhere, against American and British…”

The thwarted attack in Europe comes as officials in the United States are warning that threats have increased as the holiday season approaches.
Fox News reported that “the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security are warning the public of heightened threats to public safety this holiday season and through winter associated with the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
The FBI says it is ‘closely monitoring threats to public safety during the holiday season which may be amplified’ by the war.
‘We take all potential threats seriously and will work closely with our law enforcement partners to determine their credibility, share information, and take appropriate investigative action,’ the bureau said in a PSA.
Per an assessment from the FBI and DHS, ongoing tensions related to the conflict between Israel and Hamas ‘likely heighten the threat of lone actor violence targeting large public gatherings throughout the winter, including holiday-related, faith-based, New Year’s Eve, and First Amendment protected events related to the conflict.’
The bureau says these targets are likely to remain ‘attractive to lone actors inspired by a range of ideologies due to their accessibility and symbolic nature.'”

The report from the FBI comes as an extensive investigation of legal records by CBS News revealed that the terror watchlist has doubled in the past six years.
The numbers speak for themselves. When it first launched on Dec. 1, 2003, the consolidated watchlist — now known as the Terrorist Screening Dataset — included approximately 120,000 people. By 2017, the last publicly confirmed numbers, it included nearly 10 times as many: 1,160,000 individuals. Now, at the end of 2023, the Terrorist Screening Dataset contains the names of approximately 2 million people the government considers known or suspected terrorists, including thousands of Americans, according to a CBS Reports investigation.
“It doesn’t mean they’re a terrorist,” cautioned Russ Travers, a veteran of the U.S. intelligence community for four decades who helped create the watchlist. “It means there’s something that has led a department or agency to say, ‘This person needs a closer look.'”
Government policy says agents must have “reasonable suspicion” to put a person on the watchlist. But it does not disclose what those suspicions are based on, and the government will neither confirm nor deny whether an individual is on the list.
“Those 2 million people who are on the list are on there for a reason,” said Monte Hawkins, who has served on the National Security Council for every administration since 9/11 and currently helps oversee watchlisting policy for President Biden. He notes that “a vast majority” of those listed are not U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents,” the outlet explained.
The porous southern border has continued to be a flashpoint for those defending the country against terror threats.
Earlier in the year, NBC noted last month that “this year U.S. border agents have encountered a ‘growing number of individuals’ on the FBI’s terrorist watchlist trying to enter the country via the southern border, according to the Homeland Threat Assessment released Thursday by the Department of Homeland Security.
As of July, 160 migrants whose identities match those on the Terrorist Screening Dataset had been apprehended by Customs and Border Protection trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border during fiscal year 2023, compared to 100 in fiscal year 2022. Fiscal years end on Sept. 30.”
The revelations about the list is particularly unsettling when one remembers that one of Biden’s chief architects of White House immigration policy vowed to protect pro-Palestinian “protesters.”
